ADMINISTRATION

Attention all Dual Enrollment Students on Monday and Wednesday Bus 82 will bring you to QCC. On Tuesday and Thursday Bus 82 will bring you to Worcester State. This bus is first in line so please try to get outside as soon as possible.

Teachers: as a reminder there is a Freshmen Class Assembly 3rd period please escort and sit with your students. No foods or drinks are allowed int the auditorium.

BUS 43, 56, and 81 were late this morning please check students bus pass and do not mark them late or absent.

CLASS NEWS

Attention Seniors- Please see Mr. Tripp or Chef Y to pay your class dues. Your dues help pay for prom and other end of the year activities. Partial or full payments are accepted.

CLUBS

Knitting will be Today in room A157 with Mrs. Caplan. We meet till 3:00 and supplies are free. Staff and newcomers are welcome to join.

Today’s A/V club today has been postponed. We will meet February 6th right after school in the auditorium. The club is open to anyone interested, no experience is necessary. For more information, please see Mr. Torres in room C309.

Speech & Debate Club will meet on Thursday in B201. New Members always welcome. Next competition is March 2.

GENERAL

Poetry Out Loud, a poetry recitation contest for high school students, is coming to Worcester Tech on Thursday, January 31. Participants memorize and recite two poems from the Poetry Out Loud website and compete to be crowned Tech Champion. The winner advances to the State Semi-finals in Springfield. See Ms Holland in C340 for info or to sign up. Everyone is welcome to participate.

For all students participating in skills you can go to Mrs. Barrasso room B312 every Tuesday from 1:43pm – 3pm to review career readiness skills. Also you permission slip for district competition are due next week January 24th.

Tech’s Got Talent is now on WEA-TV Channel 191 or on our Youtube Channel, WEA-TV 11.

GUIDANCE

There is Saturday Buyback this week. Students need to be in the main lobby by 8am with school work. Students on Math Palto are expected to attend. Any questions see Mr. Healey or your guidance counselor.

Congratulations to the Boy’s Basketball team for their win against BVT last night. Next game is Friday night at home vs. AMSA
