Tech Writers is joining with the Young Writers Program of National Novel Writing Month (also known as NaNoWriMo) for the month of April.  Join us this week for planning, idea-sharing and world-building, then get down to the serious business of writing your novel starting today. April is also National Poetry Month – Poets, submit your work for our 2019 poetry magazine!


Attention student who are under 18 Years old! Now that Spring and Summer are upon us you might be going out and getting yourself a part time job. By law if you are under 18 years old you will need a Workers Permit!! It is a two step process. If you need one- This is a reminder: Miss Blute in down in the cafeteria everyday from 5:45 am -7:15 am before school taking care of anyone needing a Workers Permit. Please see her at that time. She is not always available during the day.

Attention Summer JOB Opportunities: Youth Growand Youth Works are looking for students to work this summer. City of worcester DPW & Parks Department Lifeguard Training Class Program 2019 is being offered for those interested in getting certified as a lifeguard. Please see Ms. Blute in the Cafeteria from 6:45-7:15am to get more details. Thank You.

Mr. Packard’s AP World History afternoon session will be on May 22 from 2 to 3 pm. This class is for seniors only.

AP Environmental  meeting after school will be today C120.

All Skills Contestant please meet in Ms. Barrasso’s Room in B312 today 8th Period for a short meeting.

Attention Last Years Biology Student with Mr. Paoletii, Our Annual Biology MCAS Pizza Party will be Friday 4/26 During lunch, in the multipurpose room.


Worcester Tech, spirit week continues today, Today is Wednesday is Heritage day, dress to represent your flag and your heritage. Thursday is throwback back Thursday dress as your favorite decade, Friday is class spirit day, show your class pride, Freshmen are Green, Sophomores are Purple, Juniors are Red, Seniors are Blue.

Hey Worcester Tech, Does your shop’s week want a pizza party. If so, all you have to do is bring in non-expired canned and boxed food to your shop and place the food in the right bag. The shop’s week with the most non-expired canned and boxed food by the end of the school day May 9th will win. Good luck and may the best shop’s week win.
