ADMINISTRATION

Students that were on BUS 80 and use the stop at Plantation/March and Hamilton/Plantation will now ride BUS 98. BUS 98 will now be the first bus in the line ahead of 91

Friday, December 20th is a half-day. We will be running Period 1, then 5-8 classes

MESSAGE FROM MS. PHENIX: All students participating in the Laborer’s Pre-Apprentice Training should report to the Main Office by 7:30 am today

GENERAL

Carlos is a 6 year-old boy who is hospitalized, and will continue to be throughout the holidays. Please share some holiday cheer by making or signing a card and dropping it off in C102 by Wednesday, December 18th. Please see Ms. Morgera

GUIDANCE

ALL SENIORS need to check their emails and fill out the Google form “MCAC Day”. ALL SENIORS WILL ATTEND and need to sign up for a workshop or college acceptance. If you have questions, please see Mr. Goodwin in the Alden Academy

CLASS NEWS

ATTENTION ALL FRESHMAN: Don’t forget to bring in your sweatshirt order forms and payments. There will be a table at lunch everyday until Thursday, December 19th

DECA is sponsoring a Planting the Seed Foundation toy drive. Donate new toys to help make a child’s Christmas. There’s a box located outside of the main office. Donations will end Thursday, December 19th

CLUBS

Are you interested in learning to help our planet? Come join the Earth Club’s first meeting after school on Wednesday, December 18th in room C120. We will be discussing our goals and potential field trips such as beach clean-ups, strawberry picking, and much more!

Auditions for the Tech Drama Club production of Frozen will be TODAY in the auditorium after school. Please see Mr. Gemme for details

Culture club is this week in D418 from 2:00 pm – 2:45 pm. All are welcome

The Tech GSA will be showing “The Nightmare Before Christmas” in room C340 on Tuesday, December 17th from 2:00 to 3:15. Join us for this quirky holiday classic! All are welcome and admission is free

STUDENT COUNCIL

Student council will be having an open mic on Thursday, December 19th from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm in the faculty lounge. Admission will be ONLY $2! Come join us to participate and showcase any talents or skills that you might have acquired, or take some time to enjoy the snacks and entertainment! Hope to see you there! 🙂

SPORTS

The Boy’s Basketball Team opened their season Friday night with a win over Burncoat. The team has two home games this week: Tuesday VS St. Bernard’s and Thursday VS Main South, both start at 6:30 pm

ATTENTION SKI AND SNOWBOARD CLUB: All paperwork, transportation dues, and physicals are due by the end of this week. Also, Cookie Dough must be picked up at 2:00 pm Friday before break!
