ADMINISTRATION

December 20th is a half-day. We will be running periods 1-4

GENERAL

Will you “Stand For the Silent?”; be the voice for others (or yourself). Today, December 19th during all lunches the “Stand For the Silent” team will be asking students to sign pledge cards and sell bracelets for $1.00 to raise awareness and prevent bullying. If you see something, say something. Everyone’s life matters!

GUIDANCE

ALL SENIORS need to check their email and fill out the Google form “MCAC Day”. ALL SENIORS WILL ATTEND and need to sign up for a workshop or college acceptance. If you have questions, please see Mr. Goodwin in the Alden Academy

DECA is sponsoring a Planting the Seed Foundation toy drive. Donate new toys to help make a child’s Christmas. There’s a box located outside of the main office. Donations will end Thursday, December 19th

STUDENT COUNCIL

Student Council will be having an open mic night today, December 19th from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm in the faculty lounge. Admission will ONLY be $2.00! Come join us to participate and showcase any talents or skills you might have acquired. Or, take some time to enjoy the snacks and entertainment. Hope to see your there! 🙂

Worcester Tech is having Tech’s Got Talent this year, where you can show everyone your skills! Any and all students are encouraged to audition. They will be held on January 8th and January 13th in the conference room. Be sure to get there after school, auditions will go until 3:30 on both days

SPORTS

Come support the Boys basketball team in there home game today against Main South. The game starts at 6:30 pm. GO EAGLES!!!

ATTENTION SKI AND SNOWBOARD CLUB: All paperwork, transportation dues, and physicals are due by the end of this week. Also, Cookie Dough must be picked up at 2:00 pm Friday before break!

The Boys and Girls track teams opened their season with wins over Burncoat. Top performances for the girls from Juliette Tarnuzzer, Julia Rivera, Isarella Rose, Vickyanna Alvarez. And the boys, Henry Thanh, Christian Tarnuzzer, and Paul Matimu
