Reminder to ALL STUDENTS! You should have your IDs by now! If you haven’t gone to Mr. Earley to get an ID, do so immediately! Mr. Earley also assigns lockers, so if you haven’t got one, you can get one in his office (if you don’t have an ID or a locker, kill two birds with one stone!)
Strict enforcement of the ID and Backpack policies will be in effect. Only see-through or mesh backpacks will be allowed during the school day
ATTENTION ALL LUNCHES (most importantly 3rd lunch): Please be more mindful about picking up after your lunch period. A lot of trash is being left behind. Please be kind and respectful, as we would all like to eat in a clean space!
The library is open on Wednesdays after school for students to use computers and work in study groups
There is Saturday Buyback this week. Students must be in the main lobby by 8:00 am with school work. See your Guidance counselor or Mr. Healey with any questions
All students MUST park in the STUDENT PARKING LOT! You are not to park anywhere else!
Attention students who are working to recover credit using PLATO or those who need to serve a detention: Please report to the B301 computer lab starting Tuesday, January 28th after school to work on PLATO or serve the detention. This will run every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday after school for one hour. Please see Ms. Stockwell or Mr. Healey with any questions
Upward Bound applications for 9th grade students are now available in Mrs. Reilly’s office in B138. Please pick one up at your earliest convenience
Transcript release forms for Seniors need to be submitted to Guidance counselors ASAP
The field trip to the American Heritage Museum is Tuesday, February 11th, after school. The museum has a simulation of a trench from WWI and a large collection of tanks and plans from WWI through the Afghanistan wars. We will leave school at 1:30 and arrive back at school for 5:30. The cost of the trip is just $10. See your History teacher for more information. The other trips this year sold out fast! The first 45 students to return a permission slip and bring in the $10 will have a spot reserved
Model UN Club will meet next Tuesday after school in room D343
The Asian Student Union will be holding their first meeting on Thursday, January 30th in room B169. If you are interested in learning about the countless cultures in Asia, you’re welcome to join!
Skills USA will have a meeting on Tuesday, January 28th in Allied Health. We will finalize fundraising and a school-wide event for Skills week. ALL students are encouraged to get involved! Please direct any questions to Mrs. Lonergan or Ms. Taylor
Tech’s Got Talent contestants are final!
The contestants are: Alyssa Morales, Hussain Bhatti, Christina Ross, Kevin Mangra, Victoria Villamil, Jean Judaline, Esther Rusinge, Austin Manna, Molly Sullivan, Riley Mead, Sorai Vargas, Kaleb Purrington, Phil Giarusso, Giovanni Solerno, Mackenzie Dover! The show is January 31st from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm! Tickets will be sold at all lunches starting Monday for $7. They can also be bought at the door for $10! Be sure to come watch our contestants!
Attention ALL Winter Sports Teams and Coaches: The school photographer will be a Worcester Tech today to take the official team pictures for the yearbook(individual photos can be ordered at this time as well). Please have your teams dressed in full uniform and in the gym by 2:00 pm the latest! Ms. Marshall will deliver order forms to the coaches this week
