Early Childhood Education

     The Early Childhood Education program prepares students to work with young children birth through eight years old in a variety of capacities. Students enrolled in the ECE program follows a rigorous curriculum that prepares them for post secondary education at two and four year colleges. Successful graduates from the program may be eligible to receive certification from the Department of Early Education and Care as “teacher qualified” in private early education and care settings

Pre-School

Students majoring in Early Childhood Education and teaching learn through actual experience in our on-site lab pre-school. The Pre-School at WTHS is a Worcester Public Schools pre-school providing early education to children in the city of Worcester who will be 4 years of age by December 31st of the school year they would enter. Families who would like to access the pre-school for their children may register at the Parent Information Center at 768 Main St. Interested families may set up a visit to our pre-school by calling 508-799-1967.
