“Healthy Over Hungry” Cereal Drive

Worcester Technical High School and the Allied Health Dept. had once again participated with St. Vincent Hospital in the “Healthy Over Hungry” cereal drive. We had collected $550 and multiple boxes of cereal. On top of that, we had Tenet Healthcare “match” all monetary donations, which also payed for the milk, fruit, and juice. After the matching we had made $1,100.

Special thanks to the teachers and students in the Allied Health Dept. for responding to the children in need. Another special thanks to The Sunshine Club members, the Hospitality Dept., Rick Torres, Andrea Caplan, and the senior class for donating, and more special thanks to Mr. Layton and Culinary Dept. for delivering the dozens of boxes of cereal to the Worcester County Food Bank.

If you would like to help, you can donate to the Worcester County Food Bank.
