Attention Seniors: The senior superlatives have been awarded and the list has been posted outside Ms. Marshall’s room. Winners of the senior superlatives should see Ms. Marshall for pictures during 8th period, this week and next.
The drama club is holding a fundraiser on 5/1 at Antonio’s pizza on Chandler St. from 3:30 to 8:00. Please support the spring production of Twelve Angry Men by attending and come see the play on Thursday 5/4 and 5/6.
All students participating in the TechFair please visit Mrs. Coughlin in C-409 to pick up their poster boards.
There is Saturday buy back this week. Students need to report by 8:00 to the main lobby with school work.
The field trip to Sturbridge Village for Saturday April 29, has been cancelled not enough students have signed up, if you have already paid please seem Mr. Metivier for a refund.
The history department will be showing the movie Glory after school on Thursday May 4 in the library, all are welcome to attend, but you must have a signed permission slip to enter, please see your history teacher for a permission slip.

Attention Juniors: This is a reminder for those who are in academics during Z week and are registered the ELA Accuplacer will take place today. If you are scheduled for 7:30 check into homeroom and then go to your test location. If you are scheduled for 11am go to lunch first and then arrive at your test location at 11.

The Veterinary Assisting after school leadership program will be hosting two afternoons of creative arts to benefit the Tufts at Tech clinic. Come to Ms. Baker’s room (B220) this afternoon to help create calming and soothing aesthetics to be display in the clinic throughout the school year and summer. Please see the google classroom for information about this and upcoming field trips.
Congratulations to Lorenzo Hernandez who has been voted in as WTHS’s student representative on the 2017-2018 student advisory council to the School Committee. Thank you to all the students who volunteered to be our representative.
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY/STUDENT COUNCIL
The student council will once again be collecting books for the “Worcester: the City that Reads” children’s book drive campaign. This successful program has helped stock our school libraries, and provided thousands of books to WPS students for summer reading. We ask that you drop off new or gently used books in the wooden box located just outside the main office. Donations will be accepted through May 12th.
