FITCLUB will host mediation yoga tomorrow (start time is 1:55) in the library. Please consider joining us and encourage your students to come. Students (and staff alike) may be experiencing stress and anxiety at this time of year. Join myself and the wonderful Erin Gregg for a mindfulness meditation yoga session. Learn how to clear your mind, focus and decrease stress. Wear comfy clothes, bring a yoga mat (not required) or a towel. Namaste
The history department will be showing the movie Glory after school on Thursday May 4 in the library, all are welcome to attend, but you must have a signed permission slip to enter, please see your history teacher for a permission slip.
I would like to thank all those that supported the students that competed in the Massachusetts Skills USA State Competition, which was held this past weekend. All of these students that participated in this competition should be proud of themselves for their determination, commitment and professionalism.

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY/STUDENT COUNCIL
The student council will once again be collecting books for the “Worcester: the City that Reads” children’s book drive campaign. This successful program has helped stock our school libraries, and provided thousands of books to WPS students for summer reading. We ask that you drop off new or gently used books in the wooden box located just outside the main office. Donations will be accepted through May 12th.

Attention coaches and spring athletes – Team picture day will be Friday May 5th in the gym. All teams MUST be dressed and ready in the gym by 2pm SHARP!! Ms. Marshall needs to speak with representatives from tennis and crew – B303.
The girls Varsity tennis team plays BMR today at home. Players should be ready to play and at Lake Park tennis courts by 3pm.
The girls track team placed 4th overall at the District E relays and the boys placed 8th. The girls 4×100 relay of Leilani Torres, Stevenna Bowhile, Bernice Mensah, Adja Sackor broke the meet record. Alsp placing for the girls were Denise Hoxha, Blessing Cisco, Erin Gaffney, Christine Nibitanga, Maria Gitau, Lauresa Bruce.
Placing for the boys were Herlian Rijo, Brian Chan, Ian Mwalago, Carlinsky Esperance, Craig Martin and Nathaniel Felix.
