FITCLUB will host mediation yoga today (start time is 1:55) in the library. Please consider joining us and encourage your students to come. Students (and staff alike) may be experiencing stress and anxiety at this time of year. Join myself and the wonderful Erin Gregg for a mindfulness meditation yoga session. Learn how to clear your mind, focus and decrease stress. Wear comfy clothes, bring a yoga mat (not required) or a towel. Namaste
Come see the drama club’s production of 12 Angry Men Thursday at 4:30 and Saturday at 7:00pm. The play is about a young man on trial and the jury deciding his fate. Tickets will be sold at the door.
The history department will be showing the movie Glory after school on Thursday May 4 in the library, all are welcome to attend, but you must have a signed permission slip to enter, please see your history teacher for a permission slip.
Students, if you missed AP night and might still be interested in taking AP Art History, please see Mr. Weymouth in B333 for details. We just heard they have some additional open spots for next year! The class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays in the evening at Worcester Art Museum.
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY/STUDENT COUNCIL
The student council will once again be collecting books for the “Worcester: the City that Reads” children’s book drive campaign. This successful program has helped stock our school libraries, and provided thousands of books to WPS students for summer reading. We ask that you drop off new or gently used books in the wooden box located just outside the main office. Donations will be accepted through May 12th.

The boys’ volleyball team defeated Keefe Tech yesterday 3-1. Isaac Quiles had 7 kills and 12 assists. Brendon Hamilton made 11 kills and 11 blocks and Christian Santana had 9 kills. The boys’ play at Bay Path tomorrow and home vs. Main South Friday!
JV softball out slugged Assabet in a marathon game 26-22
Emily Algieri pitched a complete game for the win and Jasie Martel was 5 for 5, with 2 triples.
