Did you ever want to find out the story of the Salem witch trials and why Salem, MA is Halloween destination for thousands of people? Then signup for the history departments’ field trip to Salem, MA on Saturday September 30. We will visit the Salem witch history museum and watch a reenactment of a Salem witch trial from 1692, along with a walk through historic Salem. See your history teacher for more info or Mr. Metivier in C338 for a permission slip, the cost of the trip will be $10 open to the first 50 students who return their money and a signed permission slip.
The Audio-Visual club will be meeting today right after school in the auditorium. As an A/V member, students will learn to set stage lighting, understand sound control, and work with video equipment. The club is open to anyone interested, no experience is necessary.
Attention all students that take a yellow bus to or from school. Bus drivers will begin checking passes on Monday 9/18. See Ms. Phenix before school in the main office if you need help with your bus pass.

Attention Worcester Tech Community – the girls’ volleyball team will be collecting donations in the next 2 weeks for the Red Cross and the hurricane relief fund for Texas and Irma. The need for assistance is extreme and any size donation will be appreciated. Be generous Eagles!!
The field hockey team beat Assabet yesterday 8-0. Alana Trotto scored five goals and assisted on a goal by Emilee Algieri, Emilie Avril had 2 goals and 3 assists. Izabella Berry had 5 saves and earned her first shut out for Worcester Tech. The team is now 2-1 and will take on BVT next week.
Congratulations to Girls’ volleyball for their second win of the season. They defeated Assabet 3-0
Sr. Capt. Denise Hoxha 7 aces and 9 kills, Sr. Capt. Shannon Quinlan had 7 aces and 6 kills. The girls play away tomorrow vs. Bay Path and away Friday vs Nashoba Tech – wish them luck!! GO EAGLES!!!
