Dr. Amy E. DeFeudis, School Adjustment Counselor provides a number of services to students for various reasons. Students may be referred to her by an administrator, guidance counselor or their parents/guardians for short-term individual counseling or crisis.
In addition, students receive positive support for social, emotional and behavioral issues, family problems and attendance concerns (which may involve court proceedings). Dr. DeFeudis also conducts peer mediations, referrals to alternative programs and meets with students for preventive/safety measures. Anger management, bullying, suicide prevention and nonviolent conflict resolution skills are also addressed by Dr. Defeudis. She is located in the Health Center, Rm.
