Attention Seniors: The Worcester Community Action Council is again offering summer jobs programs to students who are eligible. To qualify for the programs you must have a free or reduced lunch status. They are strongly recruiting “First Time Applicants”
Representatives from the Worcester Community Action Council will be here in the auditorium on Wednesday, March 29 for Seniors during period 2.
In order to attend the informational meeting, you must see Ms. Blute in the Workforce Development Office for a pass with verification of free or reduced lunch status by March 28th. You will not be allowed to attend the session without this pass.
This will be the only opportunity to meet with the staff from the summer job program for this school year.
There is a Tradewinds newspaper meeting today in Mrs. McGuire’s room B316. Please bring drafts of your articles.
There will be a meeting for anyone interested in joining the Outdoor club on two overnight camping/hiking trips. We will meet today at 2:00 – 2:30 to discuss dates, permission and details. All are welcome, we will meet in the cafeteria.
Join FITCLUB with Zumba tomorrow at 2:00.
Best buddies/teen time will be meeting today in room B164 right after school for spring planting. New members are always welcomed.
Knitting is cancelled this week.
Attention sophomores: Please turn in your Yankee Candle fundraiser packets to Chef Y or Mr. Tripp by the end of the day.
If you are considering taking an AP class next year, you MUST attend an information session with your family this Thursday from 6-8pm. For more information on what’s offered and the plan for the evening, please see your guidance counselor.
Any student who is in the Tuesday ELA/History class – class is moved to Wednesday of this week 3/22 in D337 Mrs. Ward’s room.
Teachers please check your email account for students who still need to register for the SAT.
The English Language Arts MCAS will run today through Thursday. All sophomores should be in the cafeteria at this time. All grade 9 technical week students should be in their shop. Sophomores will be testing periods 1 – 5. Good luck to all students. Any questions, see Ms. Smaltz in B334.
Any students interested in signing up for the Worcester Tech hand ball club please do so in the main office prior to March 31st. Play begins April 12th.
Crew practice is tomorrow at the regatta.
Girls varsity tennis tryouts will be tomorrow and Friday indoors at North HS 4 – 5pm. Please bring all required paper work to North HS gym.
