Poetry Out Loud, a national poetry reciting competition, is returning to Worcester Tech on Tuesday, January 28th. Last year our Worcester Tech Champion went all the way to the state finals. if you want to be a part of this year’s program, see Ms. Holland in C340 for a brochure or sign up for the POL Classroom page

Our first Worcester Tech Skills USA chapter meeting will be held on January 9th after school in the Allied Health related room. All students grade 9-12 are invited to attend and get involved. We will discuss possible events and community service projects. Please direct any questions to Mrs. Taylor or Mrs. Lonergan


All seniors need to check their email and fill out the Google form “MCAC Day”. All seniors will attend and need to sign up for a workshop or college acceptance. If you have questions, please see Ms. Goodwin in the Alden Academy

Culture Club is this week in D418 from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm. All are welcome

Earth club will be holding a meeting in C120 on Wednesday, January 15th. If you are interested in learning more about the environment, it is not too late to join.


New National Honor Society members and current members must attend a rehearsal for the Induction Ceremony on Wednesday, right after school in the auditorium until 3:00 pm. Check your emails for more info. Please see Ms. Robichaud in room B317 with any questions. NHS induction is Thursday night at 6:00 pm


Worcester Tech is having Tech’s Got Talent this year, where you can show everyone your skills! Any and all students are encouraged to audition. Auditions will be held on January 8th and January 12th in the conference room. Be sure to get there after school, auditions will be held until 3:30 on both days
