Overall Goals

This program combines field investigation,  laboratory analysis, report writing, and summary presentations to develop technical and college preparatory skills necessary for employment in the competitive, and ever-growing environmental science field.

Increased Demand in a Growing Field

According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS), professions in environmental science are expected to grow at rates of 15-29% by 2022, which is significantly faster than other occupations, which are growing at rates of <5% (BLS). Starting salaries range from $38,000 to $118,000 depending initial certifications and experience.
