Specialized Programs

Overview

Worcester Public Schools offers a number of specialized programs at the elementary, secondary, and post-secondary levels, including dual-language programs, arts programs, and career technical education.

Some of programs require a separate admissions process in addition to the regular district student enrollment process. For most programs, students are selected through a randomized lottery.

Please note that the specialized programs listed on this page are separate from the Special Education Department, which services students with disabilities, with the exception of the Transition Program.
