Dear Challenge and Reach Academy Caregivers and Staff,
I am writing to share bittersweet news. As of July 1st, I will no longer be the Coordinator of Challenge and Reach Academy. For the 2024-25 school year, I will be taking the position of Principal at Claremont Academy. It has been an honor and a privilege to work with so many wonderful students and staff at Challenge and Reach over the past school year.
Scott Moriarty, who is currently a Coordinator at the Gerald Creamer Center, will become the Coordinator of Challenge and Reach Academy in my place. I have worked often with Mr. Moriarty and I can attest to his extensive experience and commitment to supporting all students. I ask that you join me in welcoming Mr. Moriarty into our school community.
In mid-May, Mr. Moriarty will visit Challenge and Reach to meet with staff and students. He will share more information about the transition in a letter to families in early June, and will provide families and staff an opportunity to meet with her prior to the start of the 2024-25 school year.
As I will still be part of the Worcester Public Schools family, I look forward to continuing to be part of our community, just in a different role. Thank you for your continued support.
